SLEEPLESS TOWN

guys i am serious about this.
go wtch sleepless town(though i got it for free- another reason to join JC.)well that's not the point.
anyway, just watch sleepless town.
it's a damn cool musical at the NLB, about this girl nora who is finding for her superhero after her dad died, goes through adversities and have to kill this evil witch it all ends in a so called happy ending.
the actor for nora is super-duper talented, i mean her voice is marvellous it raises your hairs man. and she's like only 12-13 yr old!!
the music is astounding, the lines are heartfelt. and there are scenes which are explicit( shall not elaborate) and also with the use of violence(stage drama what else) and language.

i met shan wee there too , he is likesuper cute, but there's this american actor who's like gorgeous- though a little short. anyway, it'sa cool play, about dreams, aspirations and the torments life consists of. (although one thing puzzles me- why did aristotle tell nora to be careful of not allowing the crown to be put on her head, when throughout there is no mention about a crown decended on Nora's head?!- just it and you will find out)

i'm dead serious it's cool man, it's mind-blowing and definitely will change whatever perspective you have about musicals. it's not the lalala type of musical man!. it's cool and worth the price--bonus it's not even costly!!

what's more there's a great group of actors!! chua enlai(there's a scene where he wore a woman's costume with heels--hell he's got nice legs!) mark richmond( aristotle- i have no idea whether i got their names corectly) and there's the talented girl( as nora can't remember her name but she appeared on this week's friday urban)
besides you could get to see celebrites and star struck-- like me(shan wee) lol



so go and watch it cause it's cool and entertaining- sad yet hilarious.sentimental yet violent. softness yet shocking.

(it's like i'm advertising for them!! lol ) and warning: please watch it with people who do not express their views openly!

the next play i would be watching is: the importance of earnest!!-NC 16 hoping it will live up to my expectations now.. lol on the april11 here i come. (oh yeah, after bloock test...oh shit)
